The indicator board at Brighton was removed in the mid 80's and is now at Sir Alfred McAlpines private railway. The solari board that superceded it has also long gone as have the manned ticket barriers to the individual platforms. The chalk notice on the RH side states that the Newhaven to Dieppe ferry service is suspended.
