West Country 34046 'Braunton'. Thanks to K Spiller for finding out that this on duty 732. This is either the 1130am Brighton to Salisbury or 1553 return. Photo date can be also narrowed down to between June 1950 and Decmber 1953 because of the livery and cab modifications. Just need to work out why its pulling a rake of ex LMS Stanier coaches. Another way of reading teh headcodes is as an excusion train to Hastings, Margate or Dover which might make more sense of the stock. The third rail would make this a Hastings bound train then. | The J.H.W. Kent Railway Photograph Collection | (11) |
